Choosing your moments

Immortality is always seen as an ideal. And with advances in AI and medicine it might not only exist in the realms of science fiction. More time with loved ones, your body doesn’t waste away and you keep youthful - no age related diseases or frailties. But forever is long. Your body might survive and last the centuries but what about the spirit? Can our brains really handle forever? Keeping on forming new relationships as friends and family choose to call it a day or a life?
Living centuries will definitely take a toll. There are only so many experiences, places to visit. How about being a time tourist? Await the centuries or eons in a state of suspended animation(using cryogenics) as you await the future. Choose to wake me up in the year 3023, explore flying cars or our colonies around the solar system; wake up in 5 billion years, watch as the sun expands into a red giant; or when a certain event occurs, like we discover an intelligent alien race or we invent faster than light propulsion systems and explore the universe.
It is an alluring idea. Live only in the moments that you care about, after a standard human lifetime. What moments would you choose?
